Index-based optimal DG allocation for voltage quality improvement in an unbalanced network

چکیده

Voltage quality is a one of the major concerns in distribution systems. Distributed Generations (DGs) have potential to improve voltage quality, if optimally planned and operated. Considering problem DG siting sizing, this paper aims at integrating technical factors, particularly planning DGs. Hence, methodology proposed which optimizes presence DGs can be used as objectives multi-objective or an intermediate stage usual planning. Modified indices are consider factors including profile, variation due disconnection, regulation unbalance. The defined such manner suitable for three-phase unbalanced networks. system assessed by new comprehensive index. By applying index, locating penetration formulated quality. method tested on IEEE 13-bus feeder inherently network.
